This Swivel Ball Oil Seal (Part Number RTC3528) is designed to retain lubricant within the front axle swivel housing while preventing dirt, water, and debris from entering the swivel assembly. A worn or leaking swivel seal can lead to lubricant loss, accelerated bearing wear, and contamination inside the swivel ball.
RTC3528 is correct for leaf-spring Series Land Rovers only and is commonly replaced during swivel housing rebuilds or front axle service.
