The Water Pump STC3758 is a replacement cooling system pump designed for Land Rover Series IIA and Series III models equipped with the 2.25L petrol or diesel engine. Supplied with gasket, this pump circulates coolant through the engine and radiator to maintain proper operating temperature and prevent overheating.

This is the standard civilian water pump used on Series vehicles with a single fan belt and 4-blade fan configuration. It features 9 mounting holes, which is the identifying specification for correct fitment on Series IIA and III engines.

Over time, water pumps can wear internally or develop leaks at the shaft seal or bearing. Symptoms of a failing pump may include coolant leaks, overheating, or noise from the pump bearing. Replacing the pump restores proper coolant circulation and reliable engine cooling.
